Transfer App is found on the Snowflake Marketplace

Install Transfer App from the Snowflake Marketplace listing

Note that only the ACCOUNTADMIN role, or a role with similar privileges can install applications from the Snowflake Marketplace.

1. Sign in to Snowsight.

2. In the navigation menu, select Data Products » Marketplace.

3. Search or browse to the Transfer App listing.

4. Select the listing, then view the privileges and logging requests.

   • Account level privileges

   • Privileges on objects

   • Events and logs

5. Select Get to access the listing.

6. Select the warehouse that you want to use to install the app.

7. (Optional) Enter a name for Application name or keep the default of Transfer App.

8. Select Get.

9. Grant the required privileges.

10. Click on activate, which can take a few minutes to complete.
